The dish, which is locally called "mazlum", consists of a wonderful harmony of eggplant, zucchini, meatballs and potatoes. Sauce with tomato paste is poured on the dishes lined up side by side and left to be steamed. Dizme, which is light and delicious, is one of the most popular dishes in Mardin.
