Metez
Metez, a dish unique to Çanakkale cuisine, is a type of ravioli prepared in a different way. In some regions, curd cheese or boiled potato mortar is also used instead of minced meat. It is also known as 'Pierogi' and 'Haluj'. One of the most distinctive features of Metez is that it is consumed with molasses. Prepared metemez are consumed by dipping in molasses.
