Mihr Soup
Mihr Soup, one of the most important products of the soup culture of Siirt cuisine, can be said to be perhaps the most beautiful of the yogurt soups. The soup with chickpeas and wheat is one of the favorite options in terms of satiety. The bulgur, which is soaked overnight, is boiled and the chickpeas are boiled and added to the wheat and boiled. Afterwards, yogurt is whisked well with the juice of the soup and when it reaches the consistency of buttermilk, it is added to the soup. The oil heated in the pan is fried with paprika and poured over the soup. Then Mihr Soup is ready to be eaten.
