Mırra
Mırra, which is widely consumed in Arab culture, is one of the most consumed coffee varieties in Southeastern Anatolia. One of the frequently consumed beverages in Mardin, mirra is consumed in small and small glasses due to its bitterness. Like many flavors of Mardin, mirra has a drinking culture. Everyone drinks from the same glass, regardless of the number of people, who went through a long and grueling production process. The person drinking the mirra has to return the glass to the person who served it so that he can wipe the glass and give it to the next person. At the same time, if you return the glass without turning it over, you may end up with a refilled glass, as that means you want another glass. Do not leave your mirra glass on the floor or on the table. According to the old customs, the person who puts down the glass of mirra is considered to be indebted to the person who serves it, such as getting married, getting married, and making a dowry. It is known that mirra is very useful in terms of health, such as concentration and liver diseases. However, as with all types of caffeine, it is necessary not to consume more than necessary.
