Nokul
'Nokul', which is among the local delicacies of the city and served in two ways as minced meat and grapes, was registered in 2018. After the dough prepared with a mixture of flour, oil, yoghurt, salt and yeast is left to rest, the fermented dough is divided into pieces and rolled out thinly with the help of a rolling pin. A carefully prepared inner mortar with raisins, walnuts or minced meat is put into the dough. The dough, which is filled with internal mortar, is rolled in the form of a roll and laid on a greased tray. The dough placed on the tray is then cut and thrown into the oven. Nokul, which is among the indispensable tastes of Sinop, is sent to the country and abroad. The masters from Sinop can't keep up with the orders of the spot, where the demand has increased recently.
