Ordu Toast
Ordu Toast, which is one of the indispensable tastes of Ordu and has become the city's brand in the field of gastronomy, received a geographical indication with the initiatives of the Metropolitan Municipality.
Ordu Metropolitan Municipality received a patent for Ordu Toast, which was started to be made by Kemal and Zeki Yamaner in 1958 and became the city's brand in the course of time. The application made to the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office of the Ministry of Industry and Technology with the title of "Geographical Indication and Traditional Product" was accepted. After the evaluations, the registration process of Ordu Toast, which was published in the Official Geographical Indication and Traditional Product Name Bulletin of the Turkish Patent Institute on June 1, 2021 and numbered 102, was completed.
