Örgülü Rice

Braided rice is the main dish of Kayseri guest tables. It is a taste known outside of Kayseri with its appearance and taste. It is a traditional pilaf served locally, instead of traditional pilaf. Braided rice takes its name from its appearance in the form of a strip on the rice. Pilaf is made by preparing the stuffing for rice, then covered with dough cut into strips and cooked in the oven until golden brown. Pistachios, currants and almonds added to the rice both give flavor and make it look good. Since it is a delicacy prepared at home, you have the chance to taste it during your home visits in Kayseri.
