Oregano and sage are produced in Gözler Mahallesi of Pamukkale district due to the suitability of the soil and climatic conditions of the region. Denizli, which meets most of Turkey's thyme needs, has made a name for itself by exporting thyme to many countries of the world. Thyme, which is produced entirely organically by local farmers, can be harvested in high quality by using fresh seedlings and keeping the soil moist. Thyme seedlings planted in March become suitable for harvest in May-June. Thyme, which is used in many fields, especially in the spice, medicine, cosmetics and chemical industry, adds flavor and aroma to meals and salads.

Another aromatic plant grown in Pamukkale is sage. Quality sage can be produced because it adapts well to the soil and climatic conditions of the region. Sage, which is produced by local producers with natural methods, adds value to Pamukkale's eco tourism. Sage, which is a medicinal plant, can be consumed by brewing tea to prevent diseases in winter. Thanks to its anti-inflammatory properties, it is known to be good for sore throats and mouth sores.
