Piraziz Apple
It is an endemic apple variety grown in Ordu and Giresun provinces. When the flowers of other apple species turn into fruit, the Piraziz Apple begins to bloom, so it is not affected by spring frosts, it is a late apple variety. It is a slightly sour, juicy, white-fleshed, durable apple variety.
Praziz apple was registered as a geographical indication in 2016.
