When dessert is mentioned in Sakarya, the first thing that comes to mind is pumpkin dessert. One of the most famous pumpkin desserts of the region is Pumpkin Meatballs, which is made by sprinkling grated zucchini and walnuts between thinly rolled dough, then rolled with a rolling pin and poured warm, thick syrup on it.
