Şamişi Dessert
It is kneaded by adding flour, salt, oil and water in a wide kneading bowl. A soft dough is obtained. It rests for half an hour. Roll out large meringues with a rolling pin. The meringue is folded into three and cut in the shape of a lozenge with a knife. It is thrown into hot oil and fried. It is poured into sherbet right after it is taken from the oil. Remove from sherbet to a serving plate and serve by sprinkling almonds and cinnamon on it.
