Sivas Meatballs
Sivas meatballs was registered by the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office in 2011 and received a geographical indication.
The most important feature that distinguishes Sivas Meatballs from other types of kebab is that the meat used in the production of the meatballs in question is obtained from cattle and sheep meat grown in the natural environment and by feeding on alfalfa, vetch and thyme grass in the highlands of the Sivas region, which has a unique flora.
