Sivas Oven Buns
Ingredients
1 kilo of milk
1.5 cups of oil
Half a pack of butter
3 tablespoons of sugar
2 packs of instant yeast
About 2 teaspoons of salt
2 eggs (whites on the dough, yolks on top)
Sesame
1 teaspoon of powdered sugar (you can use powdered sugar for a nice browning on top)
First, warm up our milk and add the butter into it, let it melt.
Then add the milk to the bowl where we put the sugar and yeast, cover it and let our yeast rise.
Add the oil and salt and start adding flour. Our consistency will be a little thicker than our pastry dough, not too much though.
Let our dough ferment for about 40 minutes.
Then take balls a little smaller than an orange, open them and cut them with the serrated part of the pizza cutter and shape them.
Spread the egg yolk with powdered sugar and a little oil on top, add the sesame and put it in the oven.
