Tirit, which we are familiar with from folk songs, is a dish with Central Asian culture. Although Tirit, known as a wedding meal in Balıkesir, is a local dish made in many regions and has different types, Balıkesir tiridi is something else. It is served by adding meat broth with sauce, pieces of meat, tomato paste and parsley on a special pita bread cut into cubes. In some places, you can also taste it with eggs.
