Stuffed Kadayif
Kadayif is among the dishes served in soup kitchens during the Seljuk and Anatolian Principalities. Kadayif was among the dessert preferences of the Sultan. One of Erzurum's most famous desserts, "stuffed kadayif", is made by wrapping the inside of the wire kadayif with walnuts, dipping it in egg, frying it in a pan, and then sherbet. When you visit Erzurum, you should definitely taste the stuffed kadayif.
