Tahini Pita
The production of tahini pita, an indispensable taste of the Niğde region from ancient times, has been going on for half a century. The tahini pita, which is made in two varieties, sugared and plain; It is prepared by rolling the dough, which is obtained from the mixture of flour, yeast and water, by turning it on the arm with the skill of the master without using a roller, and then pouring tahini on the large rolled dough and forming it into a long roll. After the dough, which is divided into pieces, is shaped into pita, it is baked in the oven for 10 minutes.
