Walnut Halva
Walnut halva is a type of halva that the people of Safranbolu prefer during the winter months. This halva is unique to Safranbolu and is produced only in Safranbolu. It does not contain any additives. There is great interest in the leafy walnut halva, which is made by pouring 40 layers of Safranbolu walnuts after waxing with granulated sugar wax and opening them very thinly. In addition to the people of Safranbolu, local and foreign tourists coming to the district also show interest. Since it contains walnuts and sugar, it both prevents cold and gives energy in winter.
