Hamamözü Artuk Bey Thermal
Hamamözü Arkut Bey Spa is 90 km from Amasya. Located in the town center of Hamamözü, on the Laçin road, the spa is thought to have been used since ancient times, although its exact date is not known. It got its current name from Arkut Bey, one of the Seljuk lords. There is a public bath and Hamamözü Thermal Hotel with 63 rooms and 131 beds in the spa area.
The hot spring water, whose temperature is around 42.5 °C, can be used in chronic painful rheumatic diseases, nervous system diseases, paralysis resulting from brain stroke and after polio, cardiovascular and blood pressure disorders, mental disorders, herniated disc or sciatica problems, gynecological diseases, hormonal irregularity. It is known to have beneficial properties in skin diseases and dandruff.
