Suleyman Pasha Hamam

Süleyman Pasha Bath; It is a historical bath located in the Izmit district of Kocaeli. It was built in the 14th century by Şehzade Süleyman Pasha, the son of Orhan Gazi.

After being damaged in the 1999 Marmara Earthquake, it was restored by Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality in 2012. In 2014, it was given to the use of Izmit Municipality.

The bath consists of four sections: coldness, warmth, temperature and ashan. The coldness, warmth and temperature sections were covered with a dome, while the ashtray section was covered with a vault. According to Klinghard's researches; the cold section measures 9.50 m. x 9.50 m., the warmth section measures 3.85 m. x 3.60 m., and the temperature section measures 3.85 m. x 3.85 m.
