Kayseri Airport (ASR)
The existing runway of our Kayseri Airport, which was put into service on November 15, 1998, was built as an asphalt pavement runway with the dimensions of 2500x45 m. CAT-I category 07/25 runway is 3000x45 m. and the parallel taxiway is 3400x22.5 m. in size. There is 1 ILS system installed in the direction of runway 25. Established on an area of 5,820,000 m2, DHMI Kayseri Airport Directorate has two terminal buildings, domestic and international, operating on an area of 100,000 m2 allocated within the borders of the 12th Air Transport Main Base Command. While the total usage area of the terminal buildings is 22.000 m2, there are 9 aprons with a parking capacity.
