Milas-Bodrum Airport (BJV)
The airport, named after the town of Milas and Bodrum within its borders, has given a significant impetus to the tourism sector in this region. In addition, it has a very important place in the transportation of tourism centers such as Didim, Kuşadası and Söke, which are connected to Aydın outside the province of Muğla. The airport is 32 km from Bodrum, 12 km from Milas, 76 km from Muğla and 82 km from Didim. It was planned to give the airport the name Bodrum Airport first, but since it is geographically located within the borders of Milas district, the people of Milas objected and its name was determined as Milas-Bodrum Airport.
