Karia Trekking Path
The Karia Trekking Path , named after the ancient Caria region, has 46 stages and approximately 800 kilometers of footpaths, and is Turkey's longest hiking trail. Starting from Aydın's Çine district and passing through all of Muğla's peninsulas, the route attracts many hikers from Turkey and abroad, as it also stops by various villages and towns, bays, hill and mountain roads, and ancient cities. The 850-kilometer-long hiking trail consists of 4 main sections, namely Bozburun Peninsula, Datça Peninsula, Gökova Bay and Inner Caria, and 1 additional section covering Muğla and the surrounding regions.
