Ancumah Yenikoy Hayrat Of Trabzon
Yeniköy is a neighborhood of Hayrat district of Trabzon province.It was connected to Hayrat as a result of Hayrat becoming a district on May 20, 1990.It is 72 km to Trabzon province and 10 km to Hayrat district.
Ancumah is a mountainous plateau full of greenery connected to Trabzon.
There are bear, deer, badger, fox and various animals in the wild, but the population has decreased greatly due to over-hunting. The people live from fishing, cattle breeding, beekeeping and agriculture.
People move to the Ancumah plateau in summer and move to the central settlements in winter. In this respect, Ancumah Plateau is generally empty in winter.
Although dirt roads have been opened recently, the Ministry of Environment and Forestry has identified empty lands and started afforestation works.
