Hacımehmet Village
Hacımehmet is a village in the Hizan district of Bitlis province. The village's old name, according to records from 1916, was Çemi Hacımehmed, which means "Hacı Mehmet's spring" in Kurdish. The village is 100 km from the Bitlis provincial center and 56 km from the Hizan district center. It is located southeast of Hizan, on the Hizan-Pervari provincial road (number 13.05). It is also 1 km from the Siirt provincial border.
