Güney Falls Nature Monument
Güney Waterfall is located within the boundaries of the Cinlere District of the Güney district of Denizli province. It is on the edge of the Menderes River, which passes approximately 4 kilometers south of the Güney district. The waterfall is one of the places worth seeing in terms of its natural beauty. The hidden paradise, 70 kilometers from Denizli, is a First Degree Natural Protected Area. It is fed by the water sources coming out of the slopes of Cindere Mountain, which is 3 kilometers away from the southern district center. The water of the waterfall, which is gently poured into the Büyük Menederes River from a height of about 20 meters, is chalky, and as a result, limestone steps and various formations are formed in the waterfall bed. The Güney Waterfall, which must be watched from sunrise to the evening, has created the Damlataş Cave with stalactites, bridal veil, tulle curtain, fan-shaped water drops flowing on emerald green velvet-looking moss for years.
