Saklikoy Team Waterfalls
Sorkun Waterfalls Natural Monument is located in the Black Sea Region, within the borders of Gerze district, Sinop province. The area extends approximately 2.3 km along the Sorkun Stream in a canyon. A dirt road forms the eastern border of the site. There are Karlı Village Dereli Neighborhood to the north and Sorkun Village Kütükoğlu Neighborhood to the south. It was announced on 07.08.2017. It has an area of 50 hectares. The Natural Monument is located in the Sorkun Stream Valley. The area extends for about 2300 meters in the northeast-southwest direction, including the highly sloping valley slopes and the valley floor. Along the 2300 meters, there are 15 waterfalls, large and small, within the Natural Monument. Amateur walks are organized in the northeast-southwest direction along the valley and these waterfalls can be seen.
