Halil Hamit Pasha Mosque

İplik Bazaar was named İplikçi Mosque because it was founded on the site of the mosque. It was started to be built in the bazaar in 1562 by the rich Abdi Ağa from Isparta and was completed in 1569. The worn roof cover was restored in 1725. In 1782, wings were added to the east and west facades of the mosque by the Grand Vizier Halil Hamid Pasha, and the minaret and library were built and expanded. on the east side. Later, the domed mosque was completely demolished and the current mosque was built in its place. Due to Halil Hamid Pasha who made additions, the mosque was also named Halil Hamid Pasha Mosque.
