Hepkebirler Mosque

The mosque was built before M.1675. The maker is unknown. It was built with rubble stone mortar. The roof is tiled on wood. It is called Hepkebirler because of the tombs adjacent to the north and west of the mosque. The sarcophagus in the middle of the nine graves on the left side of the entrance of the mosque is known as Samur Dede. Others are unknown. One of the four tombs in the west belongs to His Companions Kaysül Hemadani Asgar, who set out for the Conquest of Istanbul with His Excellency Ebu Eyyüp El-Ensarı in Istanbul and somehow remained in Kastamonu.
