İbn-i Neccar Mosque
It is located at the corner of Eligüzel Street in Yavuz Selim (İbni Neccar) Neighborhood. All of them were made of cut stone with a careful workmanship. Relief (with stonework) rosettes were made on the only door arch and some parts of the wall that entered the mosque courtyard. Relief plant motifs on the outer face of the qibla wall draw attention. In addition, it was built with stonework on its three facades, except for the entrance door.Large-small Bird Houses beautify the facades. The place of prayer is in a square plan and a single dome covers it. The dome and window edges are decorated with hand-carved plant motifs. Surah Ihlas is written in the middle of the dome ceiling. In the inscription on the door wall; It is understood that it was built in 1353 by Hacı Nusret, son of Murat, who is famous under the name of Dülgeroğlu.Another element that makes the mosque important is its wooden door. The peculiarity of the gate is that it was built by Abdullah, son of Nakkaş Mahmut, from Ankara, who also made the gate of the Town Village Mahmut Bey Mosque. It shows similar features in terms of decoration.
