Kavaklı (Prophet) Mosque
The building, also known as the Çinili Mosque, near Kaymakkapı Square, was built in 1196-97/M. was made in. It was built in 1782-83. The dilapidated “Kadı Masjid” in the area where the mosque was built was demolished and this mosque was built in its place. The mosque, which has a square plan, wooden ceiling and hipped roof, has a minaret in the northwest corner of the north narthex. The mosque was repaired in 1832, 1879, 1888, 1914 and 1950. On the east façade of the mosque, three at the bottom and four at the top; three at the bottom and five at the top on the west façade; There are four window openings at the top and bottom on the south façade, and a secondary entrance each on the east and west façades. All of the openings have stone jambs and pointed arches.
