Keçeci Hızırbey Mosque

Located in the Keçeci District, this mosque was built in the name of Hızırbey, the son of Feleküddin Dündar Bey, the founder of the Hamidoğulları State, after his death. Since Hızır Bey ascended the throne in H. 728 (1325 A.D.), this mosque must be the oldest mosque in Isparta. The mosque is small, its four walls are stone, its interior is wooden, its roof is earthen roof, and its minaret is from a kövke. In 1881, the roof was demolished and the roof was raised a little more, the minaret was demolished in 1887 and the mosque was repaired again in 1911. The mosque, which was restored in 1969, took its present form.
