Topçuoğlu Mosque
The construction date of the mosque, which is located on Topçuoğlu Street in Topçuoğlu District, is not known precisely because there is no inscription. It is understood from the architectural features of the mosque that it was built in the second half of the 15th century. It is among the written information that the mosque was repaired in 1845-1846 in the Sharia Registries.The mosque, made of cut and rubble stone, has a square plan and measures 9.75×9.75 meters. Topçuoğlu Mosque, whose place of worship is covered with a central dome, has a narthex with three domes in front of the place of worship. The walls of the mosque, the dome and the base of the minaret, bear the style of the 15th century, and the mihrab and windows of the 19th century. The mosque, which was repaired in 1952, is the property of foundations and is open to worship.
